Ethics at the Core of Servant Leadership
Round Table Discussion – Jan 17, 2015 @ 8 PM CST
“Ethical leadership is a very important and relative topic when you look at recent events in our society. This is discussion that could last for hours as many of our current leaders operate almost completely void of ethics.” ~ Armand Gabriele
Is Practicing Servant Leadership an Ethical Exercise in itself?
Servant leadership takes a strong stance on ethical behavior and moral values in order to display a leader who aspires to serve better for others rather than to seek power.
Are there Differences between Ethical Leadership and Servant Leadership? Is there such a thing that we can call Ethical Leadership?
Servant leaders serve people not to get more out of them, but because they want to boost people’s self-worth and dignity. Leadership is not a position; it’s a combination of something you are (character) and some things you do (competence).
