Have you ever observed E-ADHD? “Executive – Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder” – in which the leader displays constantly changing priorities, or makes requests for urgent but menial tasks with immediate and unreasonable deadlines that stop all other work in its tracks.
How about a “Submarine Boss?” – a leader who is silent for a period of time, then suddenly surfaces and makes requests that create chaos and knock every other boat out of the water.
The Battle of Ego vs. EQ
When operating from a place of Ego, it’s easy to become E-ADHD or a Submarine Boss.
Ego says, “I have needs and my team will meet them.”
Ego says, “When I have an idea, I should have others implement it.”
